THE NATURAL beauty of Lembang, Bandung and the cool air are the main attractions for the Air Force Command and Staff School (Sesko AU). Not only open to the general public, in the Sesko AU area there are also many interesting objects to take pictures, ranging from gates, aircraft monuments, to buildings used by officers for education.
This beautiful area with rows of pine trees and manicured gardens will soon become a vaccination center. Minister of Tourism & Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno also gave appreciation because the existing atmosphere was considered worthy of becoming a tourist destination.
Through the innovation of ‘vaccine with a view’, people not only get vaccinations but also can feel the coolness of the Lembang area and enjoy the scenery. In order to support the government’s program to reduce the spread of COVID-19, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy continues to encourage the acceleration of the vaccination program through vaccination center facilities.
The two newest locations that have become vaccine centers in Bandung are densely populated areas, namely Air Force Command and Staff School (Sesko AU) which is located in Lembang, West Bandung and the Bandung Tourism College in Cidadap District, Bandung City.
These two vaccine centers are the implementation of 3G, namely Fast Action (Gercep), Joint Movement (Geber), and Working on All Potentials (Gaspol) which are echoed by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy to revive the tourism sector and the creative economy, especially in the Bandung area.
“There are 34 million Indonesians engaged in the tourism sector and the creative economy, therefore we have to go all out in this vaccination program and we want to realize the target of 3 million vaccines per day launched by the government,” said Minister Sandiaga Uno, at Sesko AU, Lembang, West Java, (7/17).
Tourism Ministry itself targets 10,000 participants in the Sesko AU Vaccine Center. According to data received today, there are more than 8000 participants who have registered. The Air Force Command and Staff School Vaccine Center takes place at the Sesko AU Sports Center and will be held on 21-25 July 2021.
For people who want the vaccine, they can attend at 07.00-13.00 WIB. Later the vaccine participants will be focused on the football field from registration to observation. Only then did the vaccine injection process take place at Grha Widya Dirgantara.
Meanwhile, people who live in the city center can vaccinate at the vaccine center which was inaugurated on July 10, namely at the Bandung Tourism College (STP) which is located on Jl. Setiabudi No. 186. At STP Bandung, all vaccination activities are focused on DOME NHI. Starting from registration to observation then the vaccination injection process is carried out in the building by applying strict standard health procedures.
The choice of the location of the Vaccine Center at STP Bandung is also inseparable from the consideration that Cidadap District is one of the most densely populated districts in Bandung City. In this vaccine center, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy targets that 80% of the 53,000 residents of Cidadap District have been vaccinated.
The presence of these two vaccine centers is the starting point for the revival of the tourism sector and the creative economy for the people of Bandung, which is expected to be followed by various parties to collaborate in accelerating the vaccination program.
Sandiaga also appealed that even though the people were already vaccinated, the public must remain obedient in implementing health protocols in order to break the chain of spread of COVID-19 so that Indonesia can recover quickly and economic activities can run as usual. [traveltext.id]
