BOOSTING VACCINATION, KADIN HOPES THAT BUSINESS SECTOR CAN RUN 100%

THE CHAMBER of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) encourages the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination in Indonesia. This is done so that the handling of the corona virus (COVID-19) pandemic can be accelerated and restore the Indonesian economy.

According to the Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Arsjad Rasjid in Jakarta on Sunday (7/25), Kadin also hopes that companies that have vaccinated against COVID-19 for their workers can operate their businesses 100%. The hope is that if the company has already vaccinated it, we can continue it.

The plan was conveyed by Arsjad while still implementing strict health protocols. This will move the Indonesian economy forward.

The reason is that currently there are business actors who are increasingly having difficulty with the restrictions imposed. Even so, Arsjad admitted that he understood the government’s actions in carrying out restrictions.

Arsjad explained the hope that business actors, essential sectors and export orientation could operate 100% if workers had been vaccinated. In addition, it is also hoped that shopping centers and malls can reopen when all their workers have been vaccinated.

“We support PPKM, but at the same time, please think about how the economy can still run.

In the future, Kadin will also encourage acceleration in the implementation of mutual cooperation vaccinations. The entry of a number of vaccines for mutual cooperation is considered to accelerate,” said Arsjad.

He explained that due to the short case of supply from the country where it was produced, there was a delay in the mutual cooperation vaccination. Starting this week, the ordered mutual cooperation vaccines will be included.

For information, Kadin together with the Indonesia National Army (TNI) and Indonesia National Police (Polri) also held free COVID-19 vaccinations with a target of 15,000 participants. The first stage of vaccination will be held for three days, starting from 24-26 July 2021 at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC). [antaranews/photo special]
