THE INDONESIAN government has decided to continue the Implementation of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) in Java-Bali which is valid from 7 to 13 September 2021.
The Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, quoted the official website of the Cabinet Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia, Tuesday (9/7) said that the COVID-19 pandemic situation in the Java-Bali region continues to improve, marked by the decreasing number of areas that are at the lowest level-4 PPKM. Along with the improving conditions of the pandemic situation, a number of tourist attractions in Indonesia have been reopened.
1. Climbing Mount Prau, Central Java
Based on the announcement made by the Mount Prau Indonesia Coordination Forum uploaded by the Instagram account @prau_mountain, Mount Prau climbing has been reopened to the public on September 4, 2021. If you plan to climb in the near future, here are the conditions you should know: (1). Show the vaccine letter, (2). Bring a health certificate from a doctor, (3). Bring a photocopy of identity, (4). Adhering to Health protocols, (5). Obey the applicable rules, (6). 25% climbing quota.
2. Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park (TNGGP), West Java
TNGGP officially opens hiking trails and nature tourism and camping activities for the public on September 2, 2021 with a maximum visitor capacity of 25%. This information has been uploaded to the official account of the Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park Office: @bbtn_gn_gedepangranggo.
The reopening of hiking trails and nature tourism and camping based on the Circular of the Head of the TNGGP Center Number 1359/BBTNGGP/Tek.2/08/2021 concerning the Opening of Natural Tourism Activities in the Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park and the SE Head of the TNGGP Center Number 1360/BBTNGGP/Tek.2 /08/2021 concerning the Opening of Climbing Activities in Mount Gede Pangrango National Park.
The conditions that you must know: (1). All prospective climbers are required to apply the COVID-19 health protocol using the PeduliLindung application, (2). Show the results/vaccine card (at least the first dose of vaccination), (3). If you have not vaccinated, you are required to bring the results of the COVID-19 H-1 Antigen test or H-2 PCR test.
3. Karimunjawa National Park, Central Java
Through the official Instagram account of Karimunjawa National Park @btn_karimunjawa, they announced that they had reopened Karimunjawa National Park for tourism activities on September 3, 2021. The requirements to be able to visit Karimunjawa National Park were based on the Decree of the Regent of Jepara Number 443/2995 regarding the Implementation of Level-2 Community Activity Restrictions for COVID-19 19 in Jepara Regency: (1). Maximum capacity 25%, (2). Implementing Health protocols, (3). Shows negative rapid antigen results and uses the PeduliLindungi application.
4. Mount Bromo Tourism Area via Pasuruan Regency, East Java
Objects and natural attractions in the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park area at the View Point Pananjakan, Bukit Kedaluh and Bukit Cinta locations are opened with a maximum capacity of 25% and apply stricter health protocols and are required to use the PeduliLindung application.
