GTF 2021 HYBRID EVENT JOINS MORE INVESTORS WITH TOURISM LEADERS

INDONESIA celebrated for its the first time as Global Tourism Forum (GTF) 2021 event which will be held in Asia. Joining Ministers of Tourism for the event, business leaders, entrepreneurs and investors, with a special focus on innovation and sustainable recovery from the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno through the press conference “Global Tourism Forum 2021” virtually, Tuesday (9/14) said the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy supports the implementation of the Global Tourism Forum 2021 event, moreover Indonesia will be the host this international meeting by the Indonesia Tourism Forum (ITF) is expected to play an important role in attracting direct investment into the country in the tourism sector.

“With the crisis causing levels of foreign direct investment in global tourism plummed, with this Forum hopefully provided a platform for diverse stakeholders to support and promote investments in the sector. Sapta Nirwandar SE said that this hybrid activity involved 49 international and 22 domestic speakers, which was held at the Raffles Hotel, Jakarta, 15-16 September. This hybrid activity was filled with international speakers such as Taleb Rifai, Tony Blair and others. The Global Tourism Forum is a brand of the World Tourism Forum Institute (WTFI) and a collaboration platform focused on the challenges facing the tourism and travel industry.
