According to the Minister of Trade Muhammad Lutfi when reviewing the application of the PeduliLindungi application in modern retail and shopping centers in Bali, quoted from a press release on Sunday (9/26) said we see together how the strength and resilience of our Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and retailers are. We will improve standard operating procedures so that children under 12 years old come to the mall.
“The review was carried out at Tiara Dewata modern retail and Beachwalk Shopping Center mall. As for the 14 shopping centers that are members of the Indonesian Shopping Center Management Association (APPBI) in Bali, the compliance level of PeduliLindungi implementation reaches 81.71%. The level of compliance still needs to be improved through socialization of the implementation of the PeduliLindungi application.
“The Ministry of Trade will work with various parties to ensure that Bali can open its tourism and live with COVID-19 in a responsible way, especially with the PeduliLindungi application,” said Lutfi.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of APPBI Alphonzus Widjaja said that the association had implemented the SOP imposed by the Ministry of Trade. Shopping centers have also been granted permission to operate with strict, disciplined, and consistent SOPs.
“In shopping centers there are currently two protocols that apply. First, the health protocols that have been in place since the beginning of the pandemic, such as wearing masks, maintaining distance, and washing hands. Second, there is a mandatory vaccination protocol whose examination is carried out through the PeduliLindungi application. This is a step to keep activities safe and healthy in the midst of a pandemic,” said Alphonzus.
Likewise, Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Indonesian Shopping Center Tenants Association (Hippindo) Handaka Santosa appreciated and appreciated the Ministry of Trade for controlling the implementation of health protocols in shopping centers.
He also ensured that Hippindo would continue to maintain its implementation so that a balance between health and economy is achieved. Similarly, General Chairperson of the Indonesian Retail Entrepreneurs Association (Aprindo) Roy Mandey appreciated the government’s steps to encourage retailers to maintain health protocols.
“The PeduliLindungi application is currently used in all trade centers, such as modern retail and malls. This means that we have the same spirit in tackling COVID-19 and driving the economy,” concluded Handaka Santosa. [sources/photo special]
