TOURISM OFFICE HELD ‘EXOTIC NTT: FLORES, BEYOND YOUR IMAGINATION’ EXHIBITION

TOURISM and Creative Economy Office of the Province of NTT (East Nusa Tenggara) held Exotic NTT Exhibition: Flores, Beyond Your Imagination which promotes various tourism potentials and the creative economy in Labuan Bajo, and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) in general.

According to the Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy/Deputy Head of the Tourism and Creative Economy Agency, Angela Tanoesoedibjo said Exotic NTT: Flores, Beyond Your Imagination which took place at Gandaria City Mall, South Jakarta, and took place from October 15-17, it was hoped that more people would know tourism and creative economy so as to increase tourist visits to one of these super priority destinations.

“So that prospective tourists can better understand the suitability of the tourist experience they want with the available activities and products. This exhibition carries a concept that presents the attractiveness of creative tourism spread throughout NTT, such as on the islands of Flores, Alor, and Lembata. Booths in This exhibition is also arranged in an architecture that emphasizes the culture of NTT,” she said.

Deputy Minister Angela Tanoesoedibjo explained that visitors could experience the experience through a representative booth with nuances of the authentic culture, destination, and uniqueness of the area.

Not only that, in this exhibition presented by the Tourism Agency for the Labuan Bajo Flores Authority (BPOLBF), visitors can also see the wealth of creative tourism potential in NTT virtually through the virtual reality booth available at the event location.

At this exhibition there is also a booth that presents the products of Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) players. Such as La Bajo Coffee, Tersco Woven Fabrics, Hi bajo Knitting Bags, and others. The exhibition also presents travel agents and local travel organizations that sell attractive tour packages for tourists.

Meanwhile Marketing Director of BPOLBF, Raisa Lestari Niloperbowo, said that this exhibition is expected to increase domestic tourist visits to all regions of NTT.

“Through this activity, it is hoped that more people will visit NTT, not only Labuan Bajo,” Raisa said.

Likewise, the Head of the Tourism and Creative Economy Office of the Province of NTT, Zeth Sonny Libing, added that NTT has now become a new tourist destination. Thus, this exhibition is the right step to introduce the potential for creative and creative activities that NTT has.
