The policy for the use of rapid antigen tests in air transportation modes will be enforced again on November 3, 2021 by the Ministry of Transportation. This policy was implemented after many people criticized the RT-PCR obligation policy.
Prospective passengers are also required to show a certificate of the second dose of vaccine for those using the rapid antigen test (1×24 hours), and the first dose of vaccine for passengers using the PCR swab (3×24 hours).
According to the General Manager of Lombok Airport, Nugroho Jati, who explained that by allowing the use of Antigen, it is hoped that it will increase the number of visits to NTB through Lombok Airport.
“Especially this month ahead of World Superbike, we hope that the visit to the event is on target. World Superbike is planned to be held from 19 to 21 November 2021 at the Mandalika circuit,” said Nugroho.

Nugroho explained that the vaccine obligation is excluded for airplane passengers aged 12 years and under and passengers with congenital or comorbid diseases.
