TOURISTS WHO INTEND TO HAVE YEAR-END HOLIDAYS ARE ASKED TO OBEY THE RULES

INDONESIAN societies who intend to vacation at the end of the year are asked to continue to comply with health rules and protocols.

According to Expert Staff for Crisis Management at the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy, Henky Manurung, please obey the rules, fill in the eHac, don’t forget to bring spare masks and hand sanitizers and stay away from crowds.

He reminded the public to choose accommodation that meets the standards in the midst of the new normal in order to maintain health and safety. The public is also advised to celebrate the end of the year in a safer way in the midst of a pandemic, for example, not to join the crowd in welcoming 2022.

“If New Year’s Eve usually sets off massive fireworks, now just celebrate it in the room. Leave during the 2021 Christmas and New Year holidays are prohibited for state civil servants (ASN),” he said.

The policy is contained in the Circular Letter of the Ministry of Empowerment of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform (Minister of PAN-RB) Number 26/2021 concerning Restrictions on Traveling Outside the Region and/or Leave for ASN Employees During the 2021 Christmas and New Year 2022 Period During the 2019 Corona Virus Disease Pandemic Period.

The regulation was made as a follow-up to the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 62/2021 regarding the Prevention and Control of COVID-19 at Christmas in 2021 and New Year in 2022.

Then, based on the Circular Letter Minister of PANRB Number 13/2021, restrictions on leave and traveling outside the region for ASN have also been regulated, namely it is forbidden to take leave and travel outside the region on the same week as a national holiday, both before and after, which means it falls since December 20, 2021.

The prohibition is excluded for ASN on maternity leave and sick leave for Government employees (PNS) with Work Agreements (PPPK). [antaranews/photo special]
