THE LACK of promotion and holding of national-scale events is one indicator of the low number of tourist visits to Semarang Regency.
Seeing this fact, Kampoeng Kopi Banaran which is managed by Dyandra Banaran Nusantara (DBN), a subsidiary of Dyandra Promosindo from the Kompas Gramedia group, next year will hold three prestigious national events.
This was conveyed by Frina Bonita, General Manager of Kampoeng Kopi Banaran, at the peak dinner of the 14th anniversary of the Media Crew Association (HAM) Jakarta, in the presence of the Regent of Semarang Regency Ngesti Nugaraha, Chairman of the Semarang Regency DPRD Bondan Maruto Hening, and the Head of the Office of Semarang Regency Tourism, Dewi Pramuningsih.
“Dyandra Promosindo DNA is the event organizer, for that next year Kampoeng Kopi Banaran will hold three national-scale events to boost the number of tourist visits to Semarang Regency,” said Frina Bonita General Manager of Kampoeng Kopi Banaran recently.
In more detail, Frina said that these three events are scheduled to start in June with Dynamic Fest, the first music concert held in the middle of a coffee plantation with an outdoor concept for three days.
“For the first day, we will present 90’s (Nineties) genre music. Then on the second day, we bring Electric Dance Music (EDM) music genre, and on the final day there will be jazz genre as the closing night for Dynamic Fest, “said Frina, who is a fan of jazz music.
In August, added Frina, Kampoeng Kopi Banaran will hold a Black-Market Festival. This event coincided with the coffee harvest at Kampoeng Kopi Banaran. “So, tourists to Kampoeng Kopi Banaran can experience how to harvest coffee; there is also an exhibition about coffee, tea and herbs,” she explained.
Closing the year 2022 Kampoeng Kopi Banaran presents the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) Outdoor. “This will be the first time for Dyandra Promosindo an automotive exhibition with a concept outside the exhibition building,” Frina remarked.
The existence of these three national-scale events is expected to contribute to bringing in tourists and driving the wheels of the economy not only in Banaran but also Semarang Regency in general. [traveltext.id]
