NORTON has unveiled a prototype of their latest cafe racer-style vehicle, the V4CR designed by Norton’s global headquarters.
The bike is a derivative of the V4SV they just launched. It’s not wrong if they share almost the same technology and DNA. His brother will use a 1200cc V4 engine and will produce 185 bhp of power in the form of a stripped-back.
“The VC4R prototype is the next step in Norton’s strategic growth plan on its journey to become a world leader in luxury handcrafted motorcycles,” said Norton CEO Dr Robert Hentschel.
They have been running this latest project for the last 16 months with various changes and revisions made. The V4CR was built to reintroduce the iconic cafe racer heritage from the start.
The Cafe Racer prototype features a carbon fiber fuel tank as well as body panels, swing arms and a polished billet aluminum frame, with a compact frame and a shorter rear frame. In this case, 30 engineers from Norton were involved in the V4CR project that had covered tens of thousands of miles during road testing. [antaranews/photo special]
