TOURISM and Creative Economy Ministry supports digital art innovation that could encourage growth of the creative economy, including through a virtual exhibition that could reach a broader audience through the digital space.
According to Minister Sandiaga Uno said we are very supportive of this creative and innovation platform (virtual exhibition). This is especially in the field of visual communications as well as collaboration and the expression space that would hopefully one day produce creative figures to support the growth of Indonesia’s economy.
“One such example of a virtual exhibition held to display artwork from creative industry players is “PARTMOTION #1”. The exhibition is a form of collaboration between Paramadina Visual Communication Design Alumni Association (IADKVP) and Paramadina’s Visual Communication Design Major and Rupakapala Students Association and can be accessed from iadkvparamadina.com/partmotion,” he affirmed.
He explained that the virtual exhibition is held until January 21, 2022, so that visual communication design enthusiasts could continue to produce artworks that could potentially drive Indonesia’s creative economy sector.
Meanwhile Paramadina Unversity’s Rector, Didik J. Rachbini, stated an artwork should develop and must be unhindered. Exhibitions should not only display artworks but should also elicit public response and become a space for dialogue, so that its benefits could be felt by the nation.
Visitors at the Virtual Exhibition felt as though they are in a special room as the exhibition has a 360-degree panoramic display. Visitors will be treated to attractive artworks produced by local artists that describe modern phenomena.
Several types of artworks featured at this exhibition comprise visual audio, animation, drawing, and photos. Until the exhibition is underway, visitors can access the artworks presented at the event. [antaranews/photo special]
