THE INDONESIAN Government will tighten travel regulations during Christmas 2021 and the New Year eve 2022 to prevent a spike in COVID-19 cases due to the high mobility of the people.
This decision was in line with the cancellation of the PPKM Level 3 policy throughout Indonesia during that period. The travel rules are contained in the Circular Letter (CL) of the COVID-19 Task Force Number 24 of 2021 concerning Regulation of Community Activities and Mobility During the Christmas Period of 2021 and the New Year Eve 2022 during the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Pandemic Period.

(1). COVID-19 vaccine card at least the first dose, (2). A certificate of negative COVID-19 results through an RT-PCR tests whose samples were taken within a maximum period of 3 x 24 hours before departure, or (3). A certificate of negative COVID-19 results through a rapid antigen tests whose samples were taken within a maximum period of 1 x 24 hours prior to departure. [sources/photo special]
