GARUDA INDONESIA AND TRAVELOKA OFFER VIP SERVICES, CAN HELP CHECK-IN

GARUDA Indonesia airline in collaboration with Traveloka offers VIP services for tourists who are members of the Traveloka-Garuda Flyers Club (TGFC) program.

According to VP of Marketing Transport and Financial Services, Traveloka, Andhini Putri, said the VIP service is an effort to create a safe journey by implementing health protocols.

“If you have become a TGFC member, (users can get) VIP experience, like there is a concierge. They really come, someone picks you up, someone (helps) check-in,” Andhini said in a press release.

Upon arrival at the airport, users of this VIP service will receive assistance from officers for the check-in, baggage, customs, and immigration processes. They will also be assisted in finding a lounge before the flight and finding hotel shuttle services.

This VIP service, he continued, is only available at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. However, it is possible that this service will be expanded. Broadly speaking, the TGFC program provides an opportunity for tourists to plan their trips while still implementing health protocols.

If you are already a member, tourists can enjoy various offers, namely: (1). 40% discount for insurance products at Traveloka, (2). Shopping voucher of IDR 200,000 from Oemah Etnij, (3). Shopping voucher of IDR300,000 from clothing brand Andrew Smith, (4). Digital membership (e-membership) and Traveloka Points worth IDR200,000, (5). IDR200,000 discount for airport transfers (6). Currently, airport transfer services are available in Yogyakarta, Surabaya in East Java, and Jakarta.

Tourists can take part in various activities, culinary tours, and visit other tourist attractions that have collaborated with Traveloka in an area.

Andhini said that there would be vouchers that tourist could use at a destination. So, it’s always changing. We will always update depending on what partner wants to provide those benefits.

The service, she added, aims to provide a sense of security and increase the confidence of travelers to travel. [sources/photo special]
