THE FIRST QUARTER, INTEREST OF FOREIGN TOURISTS VISITING BALI IS STILL HIGH

IT TURNS out that the interest of foreign tourists to Bali is still high, so adjustments are needed in providing services.

Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno said that the interest of foreign tourists to Bali was very high and for the first quarter after Christmas and this New Year eve, the number reached 57% of the survey we conducted. But there must be adjustments in terms of visa convenience, direct flights, and flexible quarantine.

He said we hopes that in the first quarter and 2022, tourists will gradually and continuously return to visit Bali. In addition, it is emphasized for the Bali area to continue to discipline and improve 3T (Testing, Tracing, Treatment).

“I entrust Bali tracing to be improved, after I coordinated the vaccination achievements in Bali of 102 percent for the first dose and more than 90% for the second dose. So, this is Bali’s achievement, including the highest in Indonesia,” he said.

Sandiaga explained that in the future it is important to follow the guidelines from the Ministry of Health to increase vigilance, especially testing, tracing and treatment and vaccination.

In accordance with the directives of the government’s decision that the special rules for New Year’s Christmas continue to be implemented and routinely evaluated every week.

“We hope, with our discipline, this omicron virus can be controlled, the same when we control 183 more days, or more than 143 days, especially in August when it is sloping, we can maintain it,” he underlined.

Meanwhile, there is also no change in the quarantine system by continuing to enforce a 10-day quarantine. [traveltext.id/photo special]
