“Our current focus is to ensure that visitors can enjoy tourist destinations safely and comfortably through the implementation of good health protocols, readiness of the customer care team, cleanliness and security in the field as well as new tour packages,” said PT TWC Marketing and Service Director Hetty Herawati. in a written statement in Jakarta, Thursday (12/30).
Hetty said PT TWC is committed to continuing to be an example of good tourism destination management based on the new post-pandemic normal.
“Through campaigns and socialization of the implementation of health protocols that we carry out consistently, both through social media, as well as by officers in the field, as well as the PeduliLindungi application, we believe that the implementation of health protocols is now better,” he said.
TWC as the manager of cultural heritage tourism destinations applies quality tourism as a form of adaptation during a pandemic. TWC is also committed to developing storytelling-based educational content and customer experience oriented.
“Behind the pandemic disaster, there is a lesson that we learn. This is a momentum to accelerate the creation of Quality Tourism, where the focus of the destination is not only to maximize the number of visitors but more to the visitor experience, the experience for visitors,” said Hetty.
TWC itself launched tour packages that can be enjoyed by a limited number of visitors, such as enjoying the sunrise with an experiential breakfast at Dagi Borobudur hill, jogging & cycling at Borobudur Temple and Prambanan Temple, breakfast at Prambanan Temple, enjoying an evening snack at Resto Manohara Borobudur, or enjoying the sunset at Ratu Boko.
In the weekend of 2021, Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko are now open until 17.00 WIB, including Mondays. Visitors can also enjoy Andrawina Barbecue at Ratu Boko every Saturday afternoon, while enjoying the beauty of the city of Jogja from above.
Welcoming the new year 2022, Ramayana Ballet & Roro Jonggrang performances are performed every day from December 24, 2021 to January 1, 2022.
“Destinations managed by TWC also always improve themselves to become environmentally friendly areas. We provide golf cars and electric cars to get around the Borobudur Temple and Prambanan Temple areas,” said Hetty.
As the manager of 2 world heritage destinations, TWC is also preparing to become one of the venues for the G-20 event in 2022 with the theme ‘Recover Together, Recover Stronger’. All TWC destinations always follow the rules for visiting destinations from the government.
Visitors are required to have received at least the first dose of vaccination and have installed the PeduliLindungi application on their respective mobile phones. Children under the age of 12 are allowed to enter with the assistance of their parents who have been vaccinated.
