BATIK AIR REOPENS ROUTE TO BANYUWANGI OFFERS TICKETS STARTING AT IDR840,200

BATIK AIR reopens flight services to Banyuwangi, East Java, which is known for its beautiful tourism. In the initial stage, flights are carried out from Terminal 2E of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport to Blimbingsari Airport, Banyuwangi.

According to the Corporate Communications Strategic of Batik Air, Danang Mandala Prihantoro said Banyuwangi’s fame as both a tourist and business destination was the company’s consideration.

“For that, for those who have made it a [tourist] destination in early 2022, Batik Air [flight code ID] member of the Lion Air Group is flying back and effectively serving flights to Banyuwangi,” he said in a press release recently.

Danang said that his party also provides COVID-19 health test services for IDR35,000 for Rapid Antigen Tests for those who have taken the second dose of vaccine. Then for those who have just received the first dose of vaccine and are less than 12 years old, they can take advantage of the RT-PCR examination service for IDR225,000.

“Fantastic and affordable one-way travel fares start from IDR840,200 from Jakarta to Banyuwangi and Banyuwangi to Jakarta starting from IDR890,610,” added Danang.

Furthermore, he said, Batik Air provides direct flights that will be served by Airbus A320-200 with a capacity of 12 business class seats and 144 economy class seats as well as Boeing 737-800NG consisting of 12 business class and 156 economy class.

With the resumption of Batik Air reaching Banyuwangi, Danang is optimistic that flight services can continue to grow gradually serving other cities in the East Java area, after Surabaya and Malang which are directly connected to Jakarta.

“Batik Air hopes that this service will contribute positively to helping increase the potential of business, trade, creative industries, services and other sectors,” said Danang. [sources/photo special]
