WINGS AIR OPENS NEW ROUTE PONTIANAK-PALANGKARAYA, TICKETS START AT IDR902,000

WINGS AIR has opened a new flight route, Pontianak-Palangkaraya round-trip, with ticket prices starting from IDR 902,000, since Friday (1/28). This route connects Pontianak Supadio International Airport in Kubu Raya, West Kalimantan (PNK), with Tjilik Riwut Airport in Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan (PKY).

In the early stages, the flight schedule is seven times a week, or once a day. Based on their official statement, Tuesday (1/23), the following is the flight schedule:

The aircraft with flight number IW-1448 departed from Pontianak at 09.50 WIB, then arrived in Palangkaraya at 11.25 WIB. Furthermore, the plane with flight number IW-1449 departs from Palangkaraya at 11.50 WIB, and arrives in Pontianak at 13.20 WIB.

Meanwhile, the fare for the one-way Pontianak-Palangkaraya route starts from IDR902,500. The same fee applies to the one-way Palangkaraya-Pontianak route. The fleet used is the ATR 72 type with 2-2 seats or couple seats.

In ATR aircraft, the process of boarding and disembarking passengers will be done through the rear door. This is intended to minimize face-to-face interactions between passengers.

In addition, Wings Air has also collaborated with a number of partners to facilitate prospective passengers who need the results of the RT-PCR and RDT-Antigen tests in Pontianak and Palangkaraya.

The cost of an antigen test for departures from Pontianak and Palangkaraya starts from IDR35,000, while the cost of a PCR test for departures from Pontianak starts from IDR225,000. [sources/photo special]
