PRESIDENT JOKOWI WELCOMES MOTOGP RIDERS AT THE MERDEKA PALACE, JAKARTA

INDONESIAN President Joko Widodo receives an audience of MotoGP racers at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, Wednesday (3/16), ahead of the world motorcycle racing championship event at the Mandalika Circuit, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, March 18-20, 2022. 

Based on a live broadcast broadcast through the Presidential Secretariat’s Youtube account, the President received the racers at 09.30 WIB.On that occasion, the President was seen wearing a red and white G20 racing jacket with black long pants, while the racers wore full racing suits or racing suits.

The MotoGP riders received by the President are MotoGP riders who will take part in the parade in Jakarta. After the audience, the President is scheduled to take off and join the ride in the parade with the MotoGP riders.

The MotoGP racers parade will take place in the Monas area, Sudirman-Thamrin and end at the Presidential Palace.

Based on observations, MotoGP riders also brought their racing motorbikes and parked them in front of the Presidential Palace.
