THE MINISTRY of Tourism and Creative Economy asked the business community to support the development of tourism areas and the creative economy which is part of the new economic order.
According to the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno when meeting with the management of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) in Jakarta, Tuesday (3/30) saying that we hope that our economy can rise with the regions in Indonesia with the support of Kadin.
‘We must continue to interact to deliver policies that are right on target, right for benefits. Currently, Indonesia is said to have various SEZ zones, one of which is a tourism zone that is used for tourism business activities,” he said.
The SEZs are located in Tanjung Lesung, Banten, Mandalika in West Nusa Tenggara, Morotai in North Maluku, Tanjung Kelayang in Belitung Regency, Singosari in East Java, Likupang in North Sulawesi, and Nongsa in the Riau Archipelago.
He explained, it is hoped that with the presence of Kadin, the development of Special Economic Zones concentrated in the creative economy sector is expected to be able to open up the widest possible job opportunities. [antaranews]
