THE DIRECTORATE General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) of the Republic of Indonesia has expanded the scope of application for a special arrival visa or visa on arrival (VOA) for tourists from 43 countries.
This is regulated in the Circular Letter of the Director General of Immigration Number IMI-059.GR.01.01, 5 April 2022 regarding Immigration Ease in Supporting Sustainable Tourism During the 2019 Corona Virus Disease Pandemic.
The new policy will take effect on April 6, 2022. Foreigners from these countries can enter Indonesia only through 19 designated immigration checkpoints (TPI).
“For now, there are seven airports, eight ports and four Cross-Border Posts designated as entry points for BVKKW/VKSKKW subjects.
