ITALY NOW RELAXES COVID-19 TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS WITH GREEN HEALTH PASS

ITALY has relaxed travel restrictions amid the pandemic as conditions have gradually recovered. Quoted from the Times of India, visitors no longer need to fill out long forms at the airport which serve to facilitate contact tracing.

The COVID-19 Green Health Pass, which is mandatory for entering public places such as restaurants, is also now not required. However, a person must make a green pass by showing proof of vaccination, recovering from COVID-19 or other negative test results if they want to visit a hospital or nursing home.

As Italy prepares to welcome tourists, the country continues to require the wearing of masks in public places such as public transport, cinemas and health facilities. Masks are no longer required in shopping centers, supermarkets and workplaces.

Italy is predicted to welcome the tourist season as usual after two years of the pandemic and the imposition of restrictions. [antaranews]
