MINISTRY DISBURSES IDR5 TRILLION IKN CONSTRUCTION BUDGET TO PUPR

THE MINISTRY of Finance is said to have approved and signed the budget that will be used to start the construction of the National Capital of the Nusantara (IKN) this year. The budget will be received by the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) this week.

PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono in Jakarta, Tuesday (7/12) said his party would carry out development in IKN in stages. The work contract will also be carried out through a multi-year contract (MYC).

“In the proposal given by the Ministry of PUPR, the cost of IKN development starting from 2022 to 2024 is projected to require a APBN budget (State budget) of IDR43.73 trillion,” he said.
