JAMBULUWUK THAMRIN HOTEL PROVIDES E-V CHARGING STATION FACILITIES

As well as building a blue sky in Indonesia and promoting electric vehicles in Indonesia, Jambuluwuk Thamrin Hotel in collaboration with PT Exelly Elektrik Indonesia (EVCuzz) and Inti Saka Mas (SAKA) inaugurated the Public Electric Vehicle Charging Station (SPKLU) at Jambuluwuk Thamrin Hotel Jakarta Tuesday (9 /27).

According to Wiraseno, President Director of Jambuluwuk Hotels and Resorts, “This cooperation in providing SPKLU with EVCuzz and Inti Saka Mas (SAKA) is one of the implementations of our company’s sustainable program (ESG) to protect the environment by reducing air pollution.

“This is a good momentum, together with EVCuzz and Inti Saka Mas (SAKA) will also fill the SPKLU in Jambuluwuk, Java and Bali. Because currently has 5 five properties, such as Puncak, Batu Malang, Yogyakarta, Gili Trawangan & Seminyak Bali. In the next 3 years we will build Jambuluwuk in Mandalika, Bromo and Bandung. It could also be presented SPKLU,” he said.

Wiraseno added, besides that, with the availability of SPKLU facilities at Jambuluwuk Thamrin Hotel, we hope that this hotel will become a hub for electric vehicle owners, both in Jakarta and outside Jakarta, not only to refuel but also to be their choice of accommodation and meeting place, both for business purposes and casual meetings.

Meanwhile, Bobby S Hendrawan, Chief Development Officer of PT Exelly Elektrik Indonesia (EVCuzz) said, seeing the increasing trend of electric vehicles in Indonesia, as evidenced by the number of electric car sales in 2021 amounting to 863,348 units, it is certain that the need for procurement of electric car charging stations will also increase.

“As a national SPKLU provider and operator, EVCuzz is committed together with the government to grow and develop SPKLU nationally which this year targets 500 Java-Bali locations and continues to grow every year to exceed 25,000 locations in 2030,” he remarked.
