4 MINISTERS INAUGURATED THE DEVELOPMENT OF LABERSA KALDERA RESORT

FOUR Ministers inaugurated the construction of the Labersa Kaldera Resort which is located in The Kaldera, Toba, North Sumatra which is expected to become a new tourist attraction in the region.

The four ministers who attended the ground breaking which was held on Wednesday (12/21) were the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan; Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno; Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas Suharso Monoarfa; and Minister of PAN-RB, Abdullah Azwar Anas.

On this occasion the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan said that the construction of the first five-star hotel in the Lake Toba super priority destination area is planned to be completed in July 2024.

Luhut advised that this development be carried out in accordance with good planning and an adequate number of workers. So, the construction of this resort can be completed quickly.

In addition, Luhut Binsar Panjaitan revealed that the presence of the Labersa Kaldera Resort was able to increase the number of visits by domestic and foreign tourists to the Lake Toba area as well as open the widest possible job opportunities for the surrounding community.

After the ground breaking, Sandiaga and his entourage then took the time to see the view of the Lake Toba area from the Labersa Kaldera Resort construction site by seeing the beautiful scenery of Lake Toba from this location which will later become a world-class resort and waterpark on Lake Toba.
