A TOTAL of 2,000 tickets for the F1 Powerboat H2O event in Lake Toba, North Sumatra, have been sold out in a fairly short time.

According to InJourney Tourism Marketing and Program Director Maya Watono in the webinar “Adu Cepat di Danau Toba”, Monday (02/13), 2023 said we were also surprised that we opened at 16.00, then 16:23, 2,000 tickets were sold out at the venue. Tickets at Bukit Pahoda are also mostly gone.

“The organizer will sell F1 Powerboat H20 Lake Toba tickets offline starting February 15 for the event at Bukit Pahoda and in Balige. Tickets sold offline are for the qualifying session on February 25 and Race Day on February 26,” he said.

He explained, while on the 24th, when the racers try Lake Toba, only a few people can watch. On the 24th, we will provide a small area for the surrounding community to watch.

“There are several points that can be occupied by spectators to watch the water sport. In addition to where the race takes place, InJourney and the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy have curated a number of cafes around the location so that they can be used to watch F1 Powerboat Lake Toba,” he said.

InJourney will also create a nobar (watching together) event with partners who have collaborated with the Ministry of Tourism so that viewers can clearly see the F1 Powerboat race from a remote point. [antaranews/photo special]
