COORDINATING Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan said that Bali does not need foreign tourists who violate the rules because it will only disrupt order on the Island of the Gods.
“So, regarding (problematic) tourists, we have talked to the Governor (I Wayan Koster) that naughty tourists are not needed in Bali. If Bali is littered with bad tourists and a lot of garbage, it will damage Bali,” Luhut said on the sidelines of his activities at the Kesiman Kertalangu TPST, Denpasar, Bali, Thursday.
Therefore, he said that the central government supports all steps of the Bali Provincial Government to curb foreign tourists who violate the rule of law, as well as the norms that apply on the Island of the Gods.
“The Governor already knows what he will make, the Bali Provincial Government initiated the formation of an integrated task force, which will monitor and take action against foreign nationals, including tourists, who disturb order and disturb the community,” Luhut said.
He added, even representatives from Immigration in the Bali region, and related ranks discussed the problem of foreign tourists who disturbed the community because they acted irresponsibly, and violated the rule of law in Indonesia. It was reported that all related ranks to identify various types of violations committed by tourists and foreign nationals in Bali Province and have been identified, and there will be integrated handling.
