BATIK AIR INTRODUCES RI-SOUTH KOREA ROUTE WITH CONNECTING FLIGHT CONCEPT

BATIK AIR introduced Indonesian (RI) flights to South Korea with the concept of connecting flights or transit in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The airline provides a network of flights from six international airports in Indonesia. One of them is Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) in Kulon Progo Regency, Yogyakarta.

According to Corporate Communications Strategic of Batik Air, Danang Mandala Prihantoro said, flights to Incheon International Airport (ICN) South Korea is one of the best air gates in the world. In improving the flying experience, Batik Air accommodates the uniqueness of international routes with the concept of transit at Kuala Lumpur Airport, Malaysia.

“Then continue the flight using Batik Air Malaysia to South Korea. Batik Air will introduce flights with the concept of connecting flights starting June 2023,” Danang said, Wednesday (04/05), 2023.

He conveyed, the connecting flight concept provides benefits for business people and tourists who will fly from Indonesia to South Korea. Among other things, the duration of the Indonesia-Malaysia-South Korea flight is short enough to provide the latest alternative to travel with airlines and flight times according to needs. Batik Air provides a flight network from six international airports in Indonesia to South Korea. Including YIA Airport in Kulon Progo, Kualanamu International Airport (KNO) in Medan, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK) in Tangerang, Juanda International Airport (SUB) in Surabaya and Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport (UPG) in South Sulawesi.

To create a memorable experience, Batik Air operates Boeing 737-800NG aircraft on international routes (12 business class and 150 economy class). This fleet is the latest generation sent from the aircraft manufacturer so as to provide flying comfort for passengers.
