DUSIT HOTEL & RESORT EXPANDS INTO JAPAN WITH DUSIT THANI KYOTO HOTEL

DUSIT International, one of Thailand’s leading property and hotel development companies, officially marks the presence of its Dusit Hotels and Resorts in Japan with the exclusive introduction of its upcoming property, Dusit Thani Kyoto, scheduled to open September 2023.

The hotel brings the inspiration of Thai hospitality to Japan for the first time. Operated under the Dusit Thani brand, Dusit Thani Kyoto will offer a luxurious stay in the Hachi – Hongwanji Monzen district, just 850-meters from Kyoto Station and close to Hongwanji – Nishi Honganji Temple (UNESCO cultural heritage) and other major attractions in Kyoto City.

Designed to be an urban-style stay, where Japanese tradition and the elegance of Thai hospitality are visibly intertwined and revealed in a modern style. The beauty of the hotel building is inspired by the rich cultural heritage and stylized architectural beauty of the ancient cities of Kyoto, Tokyo and Ayuthaya, Thailand. The delightful combination of traditional beauty and contemporary convenience makes for an inspiring environment for the neighborhood and is well-loved by foreign travelers.

According to M Suphajee Suthumpun, Group CEO of Dusit International in a press release, in addition to the 147 elegantly styled rooms spread over 4 floors, we are thrilled to debut our hotel inspired by the elegant hospitality of the historic city of Kyoto that will honor the ties between Thailand and Japan through our dynamic hotel service offerings.

“By sourcing the best of what Thailand and Japan have to offer, from food to entertainment and design, our goal is not only to provide stylish and luxurious accommodation, but also to contribute to the local community in a meaningful and sustainable way, as we have done with our villa rentals under Elite Havens management in Niseko,” Suthumpun said.

Suthumpun explained that, dedicated to providing a broad, whole experience that goes beyond the satisfaction of our guests and customers to provide sustainable value for all stakeholders, we will fully utilize the entire Dusit business network, including Dusit Hotels and Resorts, Dusit Service Education Institute, Dusit Foods and property developers.

“This approach will strengthen our presence and the basis for our growth in Japan. We have found many options to expand our hotel portfolio in cities such as Fukuoka, Osaka and Tokyo and we will look for opportunities to introduce our related business units as well,” Suphajee Suthumpun remarked.

Suthumpun added that by sourcing the best of what Thailand and Japan have to offer, from food to entertainment and design, our goal is not only to provide stylish and luxurious accommodation, but also to contribute to the local community in a meaningful and sustainable way, as we have been doing with villa rentals under the management of Elite Havens in Niseko.
