INDONESIA AirAsia has increased the number of domestic flight routes to accommodate the needs of travelers. Most recently, Indonesia AirAsia officially released the new Jakarta-Lampung route, which made its inaugural flight on April 16, 2023.
According to Director of Flight Operation of Indonesia AirAsia, Captain Wuri Setiawan, said that the opening of the Jakarta-Lampung route proves again Indonesia’s commitment to tourism development in the country.
“By opening this route, Indonesia AirAsia contributes to providing affordable flight options, and thus is expected to be able to bring more passengers traveling to Lampung Province,” Wuri said, as quoted from his official statement.
On the same occasion, the Executive General Manager (EGM) of Radin Inten II Airport Lampung, Untung Basuki, hopes that with the opening of this new route in the future the frequency of flights on the Jakarta-Lampung route can be increased.
“We also hope that Indonesia AirAsia will add new routes from Lampung with competitive ticket prices by following the provisions of the Upper Limit Tariff (TBA) and Lower Limit Tariff (TBB) set by the government,” he said.
The Jakarta-Lampung route will fly four times a week, namely Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The plane will depart from Soekarno Hatta International Airport Jakarta, at 12.50 WIB and arrive at Radin Inten II Airport Lampung, at 13.40 WIB.
Then, the plane will fly back from Radin Inten II Lampung Airport on the same day, at 2:10 pm, and arrive at Soekarno Hatta International Airport Jakarta, at 2:55 pm.
This flight uses an Airbus A320 aircraft with a capacity of 180 passengers. Later, passengers flying with Indonesia AirAsia will get a baggage allowance of 20 kg and a cabin baggage quota of 7 kg. [sources/photo special]
