AGUNG Sedayu Realestat Indonesia (ASRI) in partnership with Ennismore is set to open 25hour hotel The Oddbird Jakarta in Q4 2023. The Hotel will be the first 25hours hotel property in Asia and proudly presented to Indonesia’s market by ASRI.
According to Alexander Halim Kusuma, CEO of ASRI said recently this marks a new chapter in the hospitality collaboration with Ennismore, the fastest growing lifestyle hospitality company which runs more than 14 lifestyle hospitality brands globally.
“As you know ASRI as a fast-growing company is aiming to build beyond property thus create a better quality of life for the surrounding community, wherever they are located. ASRI has a proven track record of successfully created and managed the new iconic lifestyle destinations in Jakarta and its greater area,” he said.
Alexander pointed out that 25hours Hotel The Oddbird is located at District 8 complex, a striking architectural building that commands attention in the heart of the Sudirman Central Business District. Celebrating 25hours’ quirky and elaborate style, the hotel is designed by the Swedish creative studio Stylt in close collaboration with the brand team.
But when asked about the investment, unfortunately we did not get information on the investment spent regarding the change in concept from being a residency to a hotel.
Likewise Michael B. Gaehler, Hotel General Manager explained that with a total of 345 rooms will be available both hotel and residences. Future guests can expect a colourful and lush experience driven by storytelling and collaborations. The public areas form the heart of the hotel: offering a workplace for urban nomads, a vanity fair for odd birds, and a starting point for expeditions in the city.
“We are excited to introduce a new unique hotel concept to Jakarta, the first in Southeast Asia, the 25hours Hotel The Oddbird. Each 25hours Hotel is individual and made-to-measure to create soulful memories. Inspired by its location, each hotel is shaped by the art, culture, gastronomy and stories of its surroundings,” Gaehler noted.
Meanwhile 25hours founder, Christoph Hoffmann added that The Oddbird will be one of a kind in the city’s hospitality scene. At 25hours Hotel Jakarta, several unique food and beverage venues will form the social spaces where travellers and hotel guests meet and form a community, the main restaurant COPA serves South American cuisine, and the Monkey Bar – known from the 25hours Hotels in Berlin and Dubai – brings European bar culture to the rooftop and a lively lobby lounge and bar, as well as a healthy pool bar add to the experience.

As we are committed to build beyond property, we look forward to create a well-curated lifestyle destination with holistic experiences to elevate the quality of life. This will be the paradise of paradoxes.
