BALI INTERNATIONAL HOSPITAL CAN BECOME A WORLD HEALTH TOUR

MINISTER of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), Erick Thohir said PT Pertamina Bina Medika-Indonesia Healthcare Corporation (IHC)/BUMN Hospital Holding (RS) played an important role in building Indonesia’s health ecosystem.

There are at least ten diaspora people in the health sector who are willing to return to Indonesia and register with IHC. Apart from being a health center, the hospital which is located in the Special Economic Zone is expected to become a new tourist destination for the people of Indonesia.

“This will attract Diaspora who are abroad to return to Indonesia, there are even around ten Diaspora who have registered. And this will also be a meeting place for Indonesian doctors to upgrade as well as intervene as 2 million Indonesians continue to seek treatment abroad,” said Erick as quoted from his written statement, Saturday (7/8), 2023.

According to IHC Main Director Mira Dyah Wahyuni said, from the aspect of Human Resources (HR) readiness, Bali International Hospital (BIH) will be supported by medical personnel consisting of specialist doctors, subspecialists, nurses, and experienced medical support staff.

“Diaspora medical personnel are also involved in joining BIH. In fact, the progress of readiness to fulfill Doctor’s health workers has reached 70 percent which also involves the Diaspora,” Mira said.

She explained, we also conduct on job training and fellowships for health workers who will work at BIH as an effort to increase competence by placing them in several hospitals such as Dharmais Hospital, Harapan Kita Hospital, and National Brain Center Hospital (PON), as well as placing several doctors. in Singapore and Malaysia.

To the Minister of BUMN Erick Thohir, Mira also explained about the collaboration with the Mayo Clinic as the world’s best hospital to provide the best quality for Indonesian people with international standards.

On another occasion, PT Pertamina (Persero) Vice President Corporate Communication, Fadjar Djoko Santoso said that Pertamina supports the progress of its subsidiary in the health sector which is part of the BUMN Hospital Holding to provide health service facilities in various regions of the country.
