Basic Terms

There are several types of Working Holiday Visas, namely:
(1). First Working Holiday Visa
This visa is for those who want to have their first long holiday in Australia and work there to fund their trip. Visa holders can work while staying in Australia and can apply for a Second Working Holiday visa if they meet the specified criteria.
(2). Second Working Holiday Visa
This visa is intended for visa holders who currently or have previously held a First Working Holiday visa and wish to have a second long holiday in Australia. To qualify, visa holders must have completed 3 months of specific work in accordance with subclass 417 and meet other requirements.
(3). Third Working Holiday Visa
This visa is intended for visa holders who currently or have previously held a Second Working Holiday visa and wish to have a third long holiday in Australia. To qualify, visa holders must have completed 6 months of specific work in accordance with subclass 417 and meet other requirements.
Before traveling, Australian Working Holiday Visa (WHV) holders need to pay attention to several important things, including: (1). Passport Renewal: If a visa holder obtains a new passport after their visa has been issued, they must notify the authorities of their new passport details.
(2). Travel Documents: Visa holders must ensure that their visa and passport are in valid condition before travelling. (3).
