ARCHIPELAGO INT’L EXPANDS ITS HOSPITALITY NETWORK TO CEBU AND MANILA

EXPANDING its hospitality network, Archipelago International in partnership with Cebu CFI Community Cooperative will introduce two new hotel properties in Taft City, Manila and Caretta, Cebu. The partnership was formalized in a signing ceremony held at the Cebu CFI Community Cooperative Building, marking an important step for both companies.

The signing ceremony was attended by Chris Legaspi, Chief Commercial Officer of Archipelago International, Mona Lisa Flores-Dolomandin, Director Powered by Archipelago Market Management and Atty. Winston F. Garcia, Chairman of CFI, Esperanza Garcia, Development Consultant, Ms. Farla Carolyn Garcia, CPA, Executive Vice President; and the Cebu CFI Community Cooperative team. The partnership signifies the shared vision of both companies in launching this new collaboration.

According to Chris Legaspi said we are very excited to partner with Cebu CFI Community Cooperative to manage their properties in Manila and Cebu. This partnership is an important milestone for Archipelago International in expanding our presence in key cities in the Philippines.

He explained that the two new properties are ready to meet the needs of the evolving traveler. The Taft in Manila will feature 207 rooms, dormitory space, a gym, retail outlets, a co-working space and a rooftop bar, designed to appeal to both business and leisure travelers. Meanwhile, the hotel in Cebu, located in Caretta, will offer 216 rooms, a co-working space and a rooftop bar ideal for guests looking to relax.

Likewise, John Flood, CEO of Archipelago International, also expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration said we are delighted to be partnering with Cebu CFI Community Cooperative, a highly respected Philippine company, to manage their two new hotels.
