ARTOTEL Group Learning Center (AGLC), Trisakti Tourism Institute (IPT) and National Culinary Service Academy, (NCSA) Jakarta has opened NCSA Culinary Training, which took place at the campus of Trisakti Tourism Institute (IPT), Jakarta, marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Friday (10/11), 2024.
According to Fetty Asmaniati, Head of Trisakti Tourism Institute, on this occasion I expressed my gratitude for the tripartite cooperation between IPT-AGLC and NCSA Jakarta in establishing NCSA Jakarta in our campus. It cannot be denied that in order to produce strong tourism human resources, Trisakti Tourism Institute must embrace each other; the campus and the industry must be in harmony with each other. If this cooperation can work, I’m sure that the link and the match can happen.
She explained that in realizing this link and match, namely collaboration between educational institutions and industry. This is an important step in the world of culinary education and training in Indonesia, and also plays a role in increasing career opportunities in the culinary and hospitality fields, not only in Indonesia, but also abroad.
“It is hoped that in the future, Trisakti Tourism Institute, Artotel Group Learning Centre and National Culinary Service Academy, (NCSA) Jakarta can become a research and innovation center and a bridge between the world of education and the world of industry,” said Fetty.
Meanwhile, Alexander Nayoan, Head (Dean) of Artotel Group Learning Center (AGLC) Division, who also represents the PHRI Pusat, said on behalf of the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI), this tripartite cooperation is very important as it demonstrates our agreement and commitment to improve the quality of training and produce quality workers who are ready to be employed in the culinary industry at home and abroad.
“At PHRI, we hope that in the future, hoteliers who are members of PHRI can continue to be brought and transmitted with this spirit to bring a positive impact on the hotel industry, culinary education and especially for prospective students to start their career in the culinary field,” said Alexander Nayoan.
He added, of course, we at AGLC Division under the management of Artotel Group, which as the leading hotel operator company in Indonesia, Artotel Group is always striving to present new breakthroughs in advancing the Indonesian hospitality and tourism industry.

Likewise, Stephen Reinhard Rantung, Managing Director of NCSA, said that NCSA is the only culinary training institution in Surabaya and Jakarta that offers various special benefits for students with international standards. NCSA offers special opportunities for all high school and vocational school graduates and all groups.
“NCSA offers opportunities to work in star hotels in Indonesia and international cruise ships. We cooperate with the following hotels to provide internships (On the Job Training) including all star hotels in Indonesia. In this tripartite collaboration, it is hoped that it can enhance the spirit of mutual cooperation that is mutually beneficial between the industry and related businesses in the future,” said Stephen.
He concluded that with a curriculum designed to be equivalent to D3, NCSA places great emphasis on character development as well as culinary knowledge and skills that are in tune with trends and creativity. Supported by teachers who are still working in the hospitality industry and experienced expert chefs from within and outside the country, NCSA provides the best education, combining theory and practice in and out of the classroom. This is supported by a curriculum that is short, concise and easy to understand.
