GARUDA INDONESIA NOW HAS A NEW SERVICE PARTNERSHIP WITH BMW AND VFS

THE INDONESIAN airline, PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk. (GIAA), is collaborating with German automotive manufacturer, PT BMW Indonesia, and technology company PT VFS Service Indonesia to launch new services for customers in Indonesia.

The collaboration was formalised through the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Wednesday (11/6), 2024 between Garuda Indonesia President Director Irfan Setiaputra, together with BMW Indonesia President Director Peter Medalla, and Head of Australasia VFS Global Kaushik Ghosh in Jakarta.

According to GIAA President Director Irfan Setiaputra said that the extension of the collaboration between Garuda Indonesia and BMW Indonesia, as well as the joint initiative with VFS Global, reflects the company’s commitment to innovation in providing added value and extra services for service users.

“It is worth noting that GIAA and BMW Indonesia are intensifying their partnership to offer premium services, particularly to Garuda Indonesia service users who are members of GarudaMiles Platinum, SkyTeam Elite Plus, and BMW vehicle owners. Service users will subsequently have access to the Garuda Indonesia Gallery Sales & Service Platinum Lounge, powered by BMW, at Senayan City, which will feature a more contemporary design,” he said.

Additionally, Irfan continued that the complimentary shuttle program, The Prestige Service, provides transportation to and from the airport for select passengers. BMW Indonesia offers assistance in ensuring the success of state events, and we have established corporate account collaborations.

Furthermore, he stated that the collaboration with VFS Global represented an integrated service initiative, enabling Garuda Indonesia to present a streamlined process for service users to process visa applications after registering on the VFS Global website.

“The location of VFS Global at the Garuda Indonesia Senayan City sales office is designed to offer exclusivity and convenience, as well as time efficiency, for service users preparing their travel documents,” concluded Irfan in his statement, quoted Thursday (11/7/2024). [source/photo special]
