LION AIR has officially launched a non-stop direct flight route from Bali I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport to Medan Kualanamu International Airport starting December 6.
Lion Air management said in an official statement that this direct flight will start on December 6, 2024, providing convenience for passengers who want to prepare for the holidays and celebrate Christmas practically.
“With this direct flight, passengers can enjoy a more comfortable journey and focus on moments with family or other activities,” wrote the management in an official statement, Monday (12/02), 2024.
The following is the direct flight schedule for the Denpasar-Medan route, namely the Bali (DPS)-Medan Kualanamu (KNO) route with flight number JT-963, departing at 15.30 WITA and arriving at 18.10 WIB.
Meanwhile, the Medan Kualanamu (KNO)-Bali (DPS) route will be operated with flight number JT-962. The aircraft will depart at 10.20 WIB and arrive at 14.50 WITA.
In addition to direct routes, Lion Air continues to offer transit flights through major cities such as Surabaya, Balikpapan, Yogyakarta and Jakarta. This combination of transit and non-stop options offers passengers greater flexibility in planning their travel.
Lion Air management also noted that the opening of the Bali-Medan route is in line with the government’s strategy to increase domestic and international tourism. This connectivity has the potential to promote the development of the trade, tourism and MSME sectors while strengthening the local economy.
