THE CORRUPTION Eradication Commission (KPK) said that 123 people who are members of the Red and White Cabinets have submitted wealth reports, or State Officials’ Wealth Report (LHKPN). One of the most striking LHKPN reports recorded wealth of IDR5.4 trillion belonging to Tourism Minister Widiyanti Putri Wardhana.
According to the KPK LHKPN website, Tourism Minister Widiyanti Putri Wardhana’s wealth report as of October 31, 2024 was worth IDR5.435 trillion.
This wealth consists of seven land and building properties in South Jakarta with a total value of IDR 152 billion, seven vehicles of various brands such as Mercedes-Benz, Toyota Vellfire, Bentley Continental, Range Rover, Bentley Flying Spur, and two Lexus units worth IDR 19.463 billion.
Then, in the LHKPN of Tourism Minister Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, other valuable assets worth IDR 43.814 billion, securities worth IDR 5.075 trillion, cash and cash equivalents worth IDR 67.168 billion and other assets worth IDR 77.719 billion were recorded.
It is known that Widiyanti Putri Wardhana or more popularly known as Widi is a woman born in 1971. She was born into a conglomerate family as the daughter of Wiwoho Basuki Tjokronegoro, the founder of Teladan Group, which operates in the energy and mining sector.
Widi studied at Pepperdine University in California, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1993.
After graduation, she spent more than 30 years in various business sectors, particularly in the agribusiness and energy sectors. Widi served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of PT Teladan Resources and Commissioner of PT Teladan Prima Agro, a company focused on oil palm plantation management and renewable energy in East Kalimantan.
Throughout her career, Widi has held various strategic positions in several companies owned by her family. She is also active in various social and non-profit organizations, including serving as the secretary general of the Indonesian Heart Foundation since 2018.
Widiyanti’s personal life has also attracted public attention. She is the wife of Wishnu Wardhana, the former president director of Indika Energy. Both are known to have close ties to the Prabowo family, which further strengthens their positions in political and business circles.
After officially joining the Red and White Cabinet in the era of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Tourism Minister Widiyanti Putri Wardhana must submit LHKPN in accordance with Law No. 28 of 1999 on the Implementation of a Clean State Free from Corruption, Collusion and Nepotism.
