JAVA LOTUS HOTEL JEMBER HOSTS NATIONAL TOURISM NETWORKING EVENT

JAVA LOTUS Hotel Jember proudly served as the official venue for the 4th East Java Adventure Trips (JAT4), a major tourism networking event recently organized by the Indonesian Tourism Business Association (ASPPI). The event brought together 100 buyers and 50 sellers, both local and international, in a dynamic “Buyers Meet Sellers” session to foster stronger business relationships within the tourism and creative industries.

Throughout the event, the hotel served as a warm and welcoming “home base” for all participants and guests. With the theme “East Java Cross-Border Adventures”, JAT4 2025 is a collaborative initiative of ASPPI East Java Chapter to enhance the region’s tourism competitiveness. The Exploration Journey Jember was strategically positioned as the main networking venue.

The highlight of the program – Table Top: Buyers Meet Sellers – was held on April 30, 2025, providing an exclusive and professional setting where destination managers, accommodation providers, culinary entrepreneurs, tour operators and travel agents came together to collaborate and create synergy.

The selection of Java Lotus Hotel Jember as the host of JAT4 2025 reaffirmed Jember’s growing role as a vibrant destination for tourism, business and events in East Java. The program not only showcased natural wonders such as Tumpak Sewu Waterfall and Mount Argopuro, but also highlighted cultural experiences, culinary heritage and grassroots creativity through curated local villages and UMKM: Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) showcases.

According to Jeffrey Wibisono V., General Manager of Java Lotus Hotel Jember, “We’re committed to promoting East Java’s tourism and creative economy by providing world-class service infused with the cultural wisdom of Pandalungan heritage. Every event here isn’t just about closing deals – it’s about shaping a more resilient and sustainable tourism future.

“The hotel remains committed to sourcing and utilizing local products in its operations – with a diverse selection of homemade “Pandalungan-style” dishes that enrich Indonesia’s gastronomic identity and contribute to global gastrodiplomacy,” concluded Jeffrey. [traveltext.id]
