TOURIST DESTINATIONS IN BALI NOW DEVELOP BUSINESS-LEISURE CONCEPT

ADMIDST global economic pressures affecting the tourism sector, a number of destinations in Bali continue to show resilience and adaptability. One of them is CANNA Bali Beach Club, which is now transforming to carry the concept of business-leisure, combining work and vacation activities in the beach area of Nusa Dua, Bali.

“Quick adaptation is the key for tourism industry players to survive and grow, even though the economic situation is challenging, the market demand for destinations that offer different experiences is still quite high,” said CANNA Bali General Manager, Iwan Suryawan in a talk show on Friday (05/16) 2025 online.

Iwan Suryawan explained that in Bali, we are facing economic impacts from both domestic and foreign sources. Therefore, we need to continue to innovate to stay relevant. We present this business-leisure concept as a form of response to the dynamic market demand.

This concept is realized by utilizing different areas within the CANNA complex such as Cliff, Sky, Lodge, Stone, Mezzanine, Deck, Cave and Sand. These facilities can now be adapted to different needs, from business meetings, family events to large parties with a capacity of up to 1,500 people.

Iwan added that the business-leisure trend is expected to continue to grow in the next two to three years. Therefore, CANNA Bali will continue to strive to strengthen its facilities and services to meet market expectations.

“We are optimistic that this concept will be one of the mainstays until 2027. In any situation, we believe that behind challenges, there are always opportunities that can be exploited,” he said.

However, the management of CANNA Bali said that since it has only been in operation for three years, they do not yet have specific data on the number of visitors. During this period, there has been no significant increase or decrease in the trend of tourist visits. [antaranews/photo special]
