IN COLLABORATION with MATALESOGE hospitABLElity Academy, Hotel Bidakara Jakarta celebrated National Children’s Day by hosting a special event titled “Colorful Heart.” The event transformed the hotel into a joyful and meaningful space, offering a visually and emotionally beautiful celebration.
This event held in the swimming pool area, the event featured a fashion show, singing performances, interactive storytelling, and a cultural exploration session with the Traditional Game Return Community. This session reintroduced traditional Indonesian games to the current generation.
At the opening ceremony on Wednesday (07/23), 2025, Wisnu Reza, General Manager of Hotel Bidakara Jakarta, said that this event demonstrates the hotel’s transformation into an integrated lifestyle destination offering a variety of modern facilities in one strategic location in the heart of South Jakarta.
“The Bidakara Hotel Jakarta is not only renewing its physical appearance; it is also strengthening its new identity as an inclusive and relevant space for various visitor segments, including working professionals, urban families, millennials, and Gen Z,” said Wisnu. Wisnu explained that, in line with the hotel’s transformation, collaborating with the MATALESOGE hospitABLElity Academy is new for us, especially as it relates to children with special needs. We are fortunate to hold this event. In the future, MATALESOGE training participants may intern or work at our hotel.
“More than just entertainment, the Colorful Heart event offers a small stage for great hope. We hope that every child, without exception, feels accepted and appreciated and has the courage to be themselves,” he affirmed.
Wisnu added that we believe that every child is a light that brings hope for the future. Tommy explained, at MATALESOGE hospitABLElity Academy, we believe that differences should not be a barrier to development. We provide guidance and encourage children to develop their talents through programs at our training center.
This collaboration aims to create equal opportunities and boost the self-confidence of people with special needs. Through this program, they will be able to discover and maximize their skills in the hospitality industry.”
Likewise, Edhie Rianto, founder of the MATALESOGE hospitABLElity Academy, said that the training center is a platform that instils confidence in children and provides a space for trainees to learn new things.
