RI GOV’T TEAMS UP WITH LOCAL BRANDS TO BOOST SUSTAINABLE BALI TOURISM

INDONESIA’s Tourism Ministry has partnered with two local brands to launch a campaign promoting high-quality, sustainable tourism in Bali, aimed at enhancing visitor comfort and safety.

“This collaboration reflects our shared commitment to improving the tourist experience while supporting inclusive and sustainable tourism,” Deputy Tourism Minister Ni Made Ayu Marthini said in a statement on Wednesday (08/20), 2025.

The campaign, titled Wander Through Bali’s Wonder, encourages tourists to explore the island’s natural and cultural attractions, aligning with the ministry’s goal of distributing tourism growth more evenly across regions.

Marthini said the initiative could serve as a model for other destinations and congratulated the brands on their creative partnership.

Beiersdorf Indonesia President Director Sawan Malik said the campaign would help tourists access iconic destinations while promoting skin protection through NIVEA’s sunscreen products.

“With Grab’s support and the ministry’s backing, we are accelerating product access in tourism hotspots, starting in Bali and expanding across Indonesia over the next three years,” Malik said.

Grab Indonesia’s Commercial Director Roy Nugroho added that the company is focused on providing comfortable, reliable transport to enhance the overall travel experience.

“We hope this collaboration can be replicated in other destinations to ensure more tourists enjoy seamless, memorable vacations,” he said. [antaranews/photo special]
