PT DI & LEN SUPPORT NORTH BALI AIRPORT PROJECT, CHINA INVESTOR SPENDS IDR50 TRLN

PRESIDENT Director of Bibu Panji Sakti Erwanto Sad Admiko Hariwibowo claimed two SOEs, namely PT Len Industri and PT Dirgantara Indonesia (DI) supported the North Bali Airport construction project in Kubutambah, Buleleng, Bali.

According to Erwanto Sad Admiko Hariwibowo said the two SOEs had expressed their support by signing an agreement with PT Bibu on Saturday (09/13), 2025 in Buleleng.

In this collaboration, PT Bibu Panji Sakti is the main initiators, while PT Len Industri is engaged in the electronics and PT DIn to support the field of aircraft production and maintenance.

“We have a collaboration confidence with these two large companies that will realize a world -class airport in North Bali.

The main investor from China is ready to spend an investment of around Rp 50 trillion for the construction of the North Bali Airport, so why not (why not), “Erwanto Sad Admiko Hariwibowo said.

PT Bibu became more optimistic after this project received support from President Prabowo Subianto who issued Presidential Regulation No. 12/2025 concerning the 2025-2029 RPJMN signed on February 10, 2025.

While President Prabowo in Sanur, Denpasar, some time ago revealed his commitment to build air transportation infrastructure in North Bali for the welfare of the community.

“I want to build North Bali International Airport. I will make Bali maybe The New Singapore or The New Hong Kong, where the center will be,” said President Prabowo Subianto at the time.

Therefore, Bibu Panji Sakti along with Bali Penglinsir who are members of Paiketan Puri-Puri throughout Bali (P3SB), totaling 13 kings from Puri throughout Bali asked President Prabowo Subianto to realize the North Bali Airport.

“The contents of Perpres 12 of 2025 have clearly established the construction of the airport construction project in the coastal area of ​​Kubutambah, Buleleng,” said P3SB Daily Chairman Tjokorda Putra Nindya.

Purlingsir Puri Agung Peliatan Gianyar assessed that the location of the airport on the Kubutambah coast has been in harmony with various applicable regulations. Starting from the Minister of Transportation Regulation No. 20/2014 and the Minister of Transportation Regulation No. 64/2018 concerning Procedures for Determining the Location of the Airport.

Kubutambah has also been designated as the allocation of the airport in the Bali Provincial Regulation No 18/2009 concerning RTRW which was updated through Perda No. 3 of 2020. [JPNN/photo special]
