MORE THAN 100 designers will be participating in Jakarta Fashion Week (JFW) 2026, which will officially take place at Pondok Indah Mall 3, South Jakarta, until November 2, 2025.
“As we embark on a seven-day fashion marathon featuring 34 shows and over 100 designers, Jakarta Fashion Week is not just a celebration of fashion. It’s a celebration of collaboration that fosters creativity,” said Svida Alisjahbana, CEO of GCMedia Group and Chairman of Jakarta Fashion Week, at the opening ceremony of JFW 2026 in Jakarta on Monday (10/27), 2025.
Svida explained that Jakarta Fashion Week will feature everything from big names to emerging talents from the Fashion Designer Competition, Fashion Force, and of course, the most anticipated everyday fashion enthusiasts, who will once again set fashion trends in 2026.
“We are not only building a platform, but also a bridge to bring Indonesian fashion to the world stage,” she said.
Jakarta Fashion Week 2026 also serves as an educational and collaborative platform, where initiatives to continuously advance the Indonesian fashion industry are fully realized through Fashionlink, DEWI’s Luxe Market, the Fashion Force Award, the Center Stage discussion forum, and the iconic DEWI Fashion Knights fashion show.
One of this year’s main highlights is the ASEAN Fashion Parade, which brings together three leading senior designers from Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines, showcasing regional creativity and solidarity.
“Together, we are shaping not only the future of Indonesian fashion, but also the legacy of Jakarta, a city that celebrates its heritage, embraces innovation, and reaches the world through collaboration,” Svida affirmed.
Entering its 18th year, JFW 2026 carries the theme “The Legacy of Style,” a celebration of cultural heritage and the creativity and innovation within the Indonesian fashion industry.
“‘Legacy of Style’ is because in Indonesia, we are always faced with an endless legacy. Every time we explore, we find something new, and then we look forward,” she concluded. [antaranews]
