WONDERFUL INDONESIA ‘GO BEYOND ORDINARY’ IS PRESENT AT WTM LONDON

THE INDONESIAN Ministry of Tourism is presenting the Wonderful Indonesia Pavilion with the theme “Go Beyond Ordinary” at the World Travel Market (WTM) London 2025 exhibition which will take place at ExCel London, England on 4-6 November 2025.

“Through the Go Beyond Ordinary theme, we want to introduce the concept of quality tourism, tourism that is valuable, impactful and sustainable,” said Tourism Minister Widiyanti Putri Wardhana in an official statement confirmed in Jakarta, Wednesday (05/11), 2025.

Widiyanti said that Indonesia’s participation was an effort of tourism diplomacy as well as increasing foreign tourist visits from the European market, especially the UK, as well as strengthening awareness of the “Wonderful Indonesia” brand on the global stage.

In that event, Indonesia presented three main pillars in advancing quality tourism, namely gastronomy, fitness and maritime. All three reflect the strength of Indonesian tourism which is rooted in culture, nature and community creativity.

“With the spirit of Go Beyond Ordinary at the Wonderful Indonesia Pavilion, we want to inspire the world to explore the wonders of Indonesia, not only because of its beauty, but because of the cultural values and hospitality that are the soul of our nation,” she said.

The Wonderful Indonesia Pavilion this time also reflects the spirit of innovation and uniqueness of Indonesian tourism that goes beyond the ordinary. Occupying an area of ​​246.5 square meters at Booth N9-220, the pavilion is designed with a modern visual concept, environmentally friendly and has a strong character.

This pavilion displays 46 national tourism industry players, including hotels, travel agents and destination management companies (DMC), and collaborates with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government which presents seven regional tourism industry players with various attractive tour packages for foreign tourists.

Through this event, the Ministry of Tourism is targeting a number of main achievements, including strengthening Indonesia’s existence in the international arena, finding new potential buyers, updating destination promotional information, and increasing sales transactions for tour packages with a potential value of more than IDR7 trillion during WTM London 2025.
