ROSAN: JORDAN’s KING EXTENDS 3 INVESTMENT PROJECT TO DANANTARA

ROSAN Roeslani, Minister of Investment and Downstream Development and CEO of Danantara, revealed that King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of Jordan had offered Danantara three strategic project opportunities as a means to strengthen investment relations between the two countries.

“The King of Jordan (King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein) also directly conveyed the potential projects or collaborations offered to us, including three projects, to Danantara,” Rosan stated after accompanying President Praboowo Subianto to a meeting with King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of Jordan at a hotel in Jakarta on Saturday, (11/15), 2025.

He stated that the offers included gas pipeline projects, toll road construction, and the logistics sector, which are considered aligned with the investment portfolio of the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara).

Rosan stated that the initiative is comprised of three projects: gas pipelines, toll roads, and logistics. T

The King of Jordan first requested an overview of Danantara’s projected returns before finally presenting three projects deemed suitable for the institution’s investment character.

The alignment between Danantara’s return profile and the potential of Jordan’s projects provided a strong basis for the company to consider a strategic collaboration that would open up broader economic cooperation.

“The King of Jordan has expressed interest in acquiring those three projects. He also inquired about Danantara’s returns, and it was confirmed that these align with Danantara’s returns,” Rosan explained.

Rosan has indicated that the offer will be followed up with an in-depth evaluation. This evaluation will be conducted at the direction of President Prabowo Subianto as a form of government support for productive and measured investment expansion.

“He made the offer, and we will follow up and evaluate it. We expect direct blessing (approval) from President Prabowo to study the projects offered by the Kingdom of Jordan,” he said.

Danantara plans to send a special team to examine in more detail the technical, financial, and implementation aspects of each project proposed by the Royal Government of Jordan.

The field review process is expected to produce a comprehensive study that can inform Danantara’s strategic decisions in strengthening cooperation with Jordan and expanding its international investment footprint.

He concluded by stating that a team would be sent to review the details of the projects at a later time. [antaranews]
