30th ANNIVERSARY, H3 STRENGTHENS ADVANCING INDONESIAN TOURISM

THE INDONESIAN Hotel Public Relations Association (H3) celebrated its 30th anniversary on November 28, 2025, at ARTOTEL Gelora Senayan, Jakarta. H3 was founded on November 27, 1995, with the objective of serving as a forum for public relations practitioners in the Indonesian tourism sector, with a particular focus on the hospitality sector.

According to Yulia Maria, Chairwoman of H3 Indonesia for the 2025-2026 period, said the organization’s objectives include strengthening relationships and communication between fellow hotel publicists. H3 is committed to nurturing, supporting, and developing public relations practitioners, with a focus on advancing the profession.

This 30-year journey, she continued, is an extraordinary achievement for H3 as a professional organization in the Indonesian hotel industry. We would like to express our gratitude to all H3 members who have contributed to this journey. It is essential that we continue to innovate, share ideas, and strengthen cooperation to advance Indonesian tourism, especially the Indonesian hotel industry.

“H3 Indonesia has a vision to advance the public relations profession in the tourism sector. In addition, H3 is committed to upholding and enhancing the positive reputation of the hotel industry, with a broader focus on the Indonesian tourism sector,” Yulia stated.

She added that by becoming a legal entity, H3 is officially known as H3 Indonesia and has formed several Regional Management Bodies, including The Branch Management Bodies (BPCs) are in Semarang, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, and Bogor, with the Semarang and Surabaya BPCs being the most recently established. These BPCs strengthen the hotel public relations network in various regions and open up broader collaboration opportunities for communications practitioners in the hospitality industry.

In this historic celebration, H3 Indonesia presented a fashion show with designer Wilsen Willim, known for his modern, minimalist style and ability to elegantly showcase Indonesian textiles.

This performance demonstrated H3 Indonesia’s support for the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism’s Wastra Tourism 2026 program, which aims to make traditional Indonesian textiles a global tourism identity and attraction.

The 30th anniversary celebration of H3 Indonesia was attended by various H3 stakeholders, including representatives from the Communications Bureau of the Ministry of Tourism, the BPP Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI), the BPD PHRI Jakarta, the Jakarta Hotel Association, media people, founders and supervisors of H3 Indonesia, as well as members of H3 Indonesia.
