THE DEVELOPER of the Jimbaran Hijau integrated area served as the representative of Bali and Indonesia at the 2025 Luxury Property Showcase (LPS) in Shanghai, China. This prestigious event took place at the Shanghai Exhibition Center in early December 2025.
This initiative aims to promote a sustainable investment approach that prioritizes cultural values and environmental preservation as the foundation for regional development.
Jimbaran Hijau, Head of Investment and Business Development at Tavan Dutton, stated that the response from investors in Shanghai indicates a shift in market orientation, indicating that financial profits are no longer the primary focus.
“The interest that arises is not only about Bali’s financial potential as a premium destination, but also how a project is managed responsibly and in harmony with local character,” stated Tavan in his statement in Jakarta on Sunday, (12/14), 2025.
He stated that Jimbaran Hijau’s attendance at the international property forum signaled an initiative to broaden Indonesia’s investment diplomacy, particularly in Bali, in response to the mounting global investor interest in projects that adhere to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles.
According to him, Bali is positioned as a relatively mature and resilient investment destination, in line with the recovery of the tourism sector and the growth of the high-end tourism segment.
In the context of fierce competition in tropical Southeast Asia, a culture-based development approach is identified as a key competitive advantage for long-term investors.
Putu Agung Prianta, the Founder and CEO of Jimbaran Hijau, underscored the significance of participation in LPS Shanghai 2025, highlighting its role in both business development and cultural exchange.
“We are introducing the Tri Hita Karana philosophy as the foundation for regional development. Modern development in Bali must maintain a balance between humans, nature, and culture,” said Putu Agung.
In the exhibition, Jimbaran Hijau displays a number of projects that have been and are currently being developed, including Raffles Bali, Natadesa Resort Residence, and Jimbaran Hub. The presentation centered on community concepts, environmental restoration, and long-term oriented regional governance.
Jimbaran Hijau’s involvement in LPS Shanghai 2025 aligns with the Indonesian government’s policy directives, which prioritize quality investment that fosters sustainable tourism and strengthens regional economies.
This event also presents opportunities for strategic collaboration with investors who have a vision of developing destinations based on culture and sustainability.
“Investor responses indicate that this principle is being more widely understood and appreciated around the world,” he concluded. [antaranews]
