THE DUBAI Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) has provided a list of recommendations for interesting tourist destinations in Dubai for Generation Z, who are looking for fun and adventurous experiences.
“When I review various wish lists, it’s evident that Dubai offers numerous adventures and beaches for Generation Z,” stated Asia Pacific Region, International Operations at Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DCTCM) part of DET Shahab Shayan during a press conference in Jakarta on Wednesday, (01/7), 2026.
Shayan mentioned that for Generation Z seeking unique attractions on Dubai’s waterfront, a visit to the Burj Al Arab is highly recommended. This luxury hotel, shaped like a ship’s sail, has become a prominent Dubai landmark. Guests can enjoy activities such as jet skiing, kitesurfing, and visiting a water park, along with the opportunity to swim at night.
Dubai also offers a variety of exciting adventure attractions, including zip lines, deep-dive experiences, activities in the mountains, glamping and camping, and exploring the sand dunes to the Hatta Wadi Hub.
“If you visit our web page at visitdubai.com, you will see that there are various itineraries prepared for different segments,” he said.
He noted that Gen Z visitors prioritize quality facilities and attractive views when selecting a hotel, citing examples such as Mama Shelter and 25 Hour Hotel.
Shayan stated that Dubai’s tourist destinations are becoming increasingly diverse. The authority places a high priority on ensuring tourist comfort, thereby allowing visitors to enjoy extended and enriching experiences that align with their individual interests and preferences.
He mentioned several new destinations, including Ciel Dubai Marina, a hotel that stands at 377 meters and 82 floors, making it the tallest hotel in the world.
This hotel is located in Dubai Marina and offers guests a luxurious experience with stunning views of the city.
The next destination is Mama Shelter, conveniently located in downtown Dubai. This establishment brings its eclectic and dynamic design to the Middle East.
Tourists are also offered a variety of affordable accommodations that maintain a high standard of style.
“It’s an ideal environment for both work and relaxation, offering a distinctive and inviting atmosphere,” he stated.
For individuals interested in shopping and gaming, he suggests visiting the House of Hype, the latest immersive installation, which offers 18 immersive worlds, 50 gaming experiences, 55 content creator stages, 14 exclusive shopping destinations, and six dining venues.
Meanwhile, those with a passion for art can visit the Dubai Art Museum (DUMA). The museum’s design, which features floating and towering elements, is a notable landmark along Dubai Creek.
DUMA is not only a venue for art exhibitions, he said, but the building itself is a masterpiece designed by world-renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando. [antaranews]
