THE NEWLY inaugurated Bali Tourism Police Station is aimed at strengthening tourist protection and Bali’s image as a world-class destination, according to Bali Regional Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya.
“This tourism police station is more than just a symbol of the police’s presence; it is a tangible service for both tourists and the community,” the regional police chief said in Badung, Bali, on Friday (02/06), 2026.
Through the tourism police unit, the Bali Regional Police aim to ensure that every tourist feels safe, comfortable, and protected while staying on the Island.
Adityajaya expressed optimism that with synergy from all parties, Bali’s tourism sector will become stronger and more competitive. The Bali Tourism Police Station is expected to optimize security and services for travelers, creating a positive impact on Bali’s development as a world-class destination.
The police station’s inauguration on Friday serves as a concrete manifestation of the National Police’s commitment to securing the tourism sector while strengthening services for the public and visitors in Bali.
Located at Jalan Raya Kuta No. 141, Kuta, Badung, the police station is a facility officially handed over to the Bali Regional Police to represent the police’s presence in creating a safe, comfortable, and orderly tourism environment. The police station is expected to serve as an integrated service center for both tourists and tourism industry workers.
Meanwhile Head of the Public Order and Security Corps of the National Police, Inspector General Mulia Hasudungan Ritonga, highlighted the National Police’s commitment to ensuring comfort and safety in tourism.
He expressed hope that the office will evolve into an integrated service center capable of providing solutions to various challenges faced by tourists and industry players, while also assisting local authorities in addressing issues within the tourism sector. [antaranews]
