ARTOTEL Group (AG) officially collaborates with Padjadjaran University (Unpad) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding by Eduard Rudolf Pangkerego, Chief Operating Officer of ARTOTEL Group and Prof. Arief Sjamsulaksan Kartasasmita, dr. SpM(K), M.Ke, PhD, Chancellor of Padjadjaran University, held on Wednesday, (9/02), 2026, at the Rectorate Building of Padjadjaran University, Jatinangor.
As a form of commitment to continue synergizing with educational institutions, ARTOTEL Group has again collaborated with universities, this time with Padjadjaran University.
Through this collaboration, the two institutions are committed to establishing strategic cooperation that connects the world of education with industry, especially the Indonesian hotel industry, which includes: (1). Supporting the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education to open various opportunities for cooperation in the fields of education, research, human resource development and knowledge exchange.
(2). Collaboration in managing Unpad’s venue assets and campus facilities by the ARTOTEL Group. (3). Providing special rates for the use of rooms and MICE facilities in the ARTOTEL Group hotel chain, as well as providing rewards / loyalty programs for Unpad alumni and academics.
According to the Chief Operating Officer of AG, Eduard Rudolf Pangkerego said ARTOTEL Group, as the management of local Indonesian hotel operators, believes that collaboration between industry and education is a strategic step that can benefit both institutions and Indonesian society.
“With this collaboration, we hope that our company can contribute to preparing Indonesia’s young generation to have knowledge, experience and competencies that are relevant to industry needs,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Chancellor of Padjadjaran University, Prof. Arief Sjamsulaksan Kartasasmita, dr, SpM(K), M. Kes, PhD, said that we (Unpad) are very happy and proud to have the opportunity to collaborate with ARTOTEL Group.
“The hope is that this collaboration can run and cover many things because universities that are considered good are universities that have strong industrial partners,” said Prof. Arief.
